n the medieval core of Odemira (Castle), there are reports of two unaccounted churches: the Holy Trinity and the Holy Spirit. Nowadays, there are two Parish churches (São Salvador and Santa Maria) and the secularized churches of Mercy and St. Sebastian. In addition to these Our Lady of Mercy Shrine on the left bank of the river, and St. Peter’s about 3 km.
