Do the prices include breakfast?
Not all the prices include breakfast, because many houses have a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.
Usually the room’s rental includes breakfast service but, in those cases, that information will be available next to the price.

I have a house to rent. How can I join the Association?
To have a beautiful house may not be enough to join the Association. You will have to match several basic criteria, besides the ones referred to in the Letter of Quality, such as:
• Privileged space and entourage (architecture, decoration, external decoration, view, etc.);
• Being a family-type house (small dimensions and personalized service);
• All the buildings should have a council building licence;
• There must be a licence allowing tourist activity;
We recommend a careful reading of the chapters About Us and Becoming a Member .
You can fill in the accommodation joining form and forward it to the
Association, or contact directly the Casas Brancas Management,
with your message and contacts.

How much would it cost me to include my restaurant in your website?
Our website is just another tool at the Association's disposal to serve the members' and clients' best interests.
Joining the website is the result of a continuous relationship as well as of the compliance with the Associations' rules and goals. We rely in all our members for its building and development.
Together with this interest, we do also promote the region's preservation, its sustainable development and the defence of its culture, biodiversity, landscape and identity.
The rules of the Association are to be found in its Statutes and Internal Regulations and the joining fees and regular fees are fixed by the General Assembly, depending on several factors, namely the nature and dimension of the establishment, and may be changed by this Assembly. If you are interested in joining Casas Brancas or wish to obtain more information, please check the section About Us and you can also contact the Management or send us the restaurants joining request form.

I am launching a Rural Tourism project in your area. How can I have your support?
In this moment, the Association is only open to buildings owning the necessary building licenses and with the activity licensing concluded or having reached its last phase. This means that we do not support technically the projects. But we are available to share information with you as long as we feel it is in the region's best interest.
You may contact the Management and leave us you message and contact details.
For questions about funding, you should contact IAPMEI (Institute that supports small and medium size entrepreneurs), or Turismo de Portugal (Tourism of Portugal), both at the national level, and at the local level, the Associação de Desenvolvimento do Litoral Alentejano, for Costa Alentejana (coast of Alentejo), or Associação Vicentina, for Costa Vicentina (west coast of the Algarve).
In what concerns the activity licensing, we suggest that you consult the Manual para o Investidor em Turismo da Natureza (Handbook for the Investor In Nature Tourism), which applies to building in protected areas and elaborated in 2004 by Casas Brancas in partnership with Associação Vicentina and ICNB (Institute for Nature and Bodiversity Protection).
